HELP NAVIGATING YOUR NEXT STEP

Medicare GLP-1
Bridge Program

New Stanton Pharmacy participates in the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program. We can help coordinate the paperwork with your doctor and guide you through the pharmacy steps.

$50monthly copay

For an approved, covered weight-loss medication through the program.

Who may qualify?

The temporary program began July 1, 2026. Adults 18+ with eligible Medicare drug coverage—including qualifying Medicare Advantage plans with drug coverage—may qualify.

  • BMI 35 or higher.
  • BMI 30–34.99 with a qualifying condition.
  • BMI 27–29.99 with a qualifying condition.

Different conditions apply to each BMI group. Additional exclusions and prior authorization requirements apply; BMI alone does not establish eligibility. Your provider must certify participation in a diet-and-exercise lifestyle program.

View qualifying conditions, exclusions, and complete requirements on Medicare.gov

The copay is separate from regular Part D coverage and does not count toward your Part D deductible or out-of-pocket limit.

Getting started with our pharmacy

  1. Ask your doctor

Obtain a prescription and ask your doctor to send it to New Stanton Pharmacy.

  2. We’ll contact you

Our staff will call for the information needed. Have your Medicare Beneficiary number from your red, white, and blue card ready.

  3. Your doctor completes the paperwork

We electronically send the Bridge Program paperwork to your doctor to complete. Medicare reviews it to determine eligibility.

  4. Approval, pickup, and a conversation

Once approved, we reprocess the prescription through the program and call you for pickup. Speak with our pharmacist about how to use the medication and ask questions.

Please provide your Medicare number directly to our pharmacy team—not through this website’s forms or ordinary email.
